Abstract

Data is the lifeblood of AI. However, much of the most valuable data in the nation requires tight access control due to its sensitivity. As a result, AI remains heavily underutilized in some of the most important domains, including healthcare and genomics. In this talk, Sikha will discuss promising solutions to overcome this data bottleneck while safeguarding privacy. She will share insights into ongoing research on cryptographic techniques and the generation of synthetic data using the National AI Research Resource (NAIRR).
